First Baptist Church to Host Health Screenings.

13 "Family Fiesta" Authentic Mexican Dinner

Holy Rosary Home & School Association is hosting an authentic Mexican dinner on Saturday March 13, 2010 from 4:30 to 7:00pm in the Social Hall at Holy Rosary. Meal Includes enchiladas, tamales, build your own tacos, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. Additional menu options for children which includes hot dogs, quesadillas and enchiladas. The Medford Area School District, Taylor County Human Services Dept and Taylor County Health Dept. will once again be offering Child Development Days at the Medford Elementary School Gymnasium.

26-27 "Taste Of Hollywood" presented by the Medford Area Senior High Choir. 

There will be 2 dinner shows and one matinee. The dinner shows will be on Fri and Sat at 5:30 with the show starting at 7:00.  The matinee will be on Saturday, with doors opening at 12:30 and the show will start at 1:00 pm. There will be snacks and desserts on the tables for the matinee show. Tickets will be available at The Flower Shoppe beginning March 1st.  General admission tickets go on sale March 15th at the music office.

The Medford Boy Scouts Troop 536 will be having their Annual Pancake Supper on Sunday from 4 to 7p.m. At the Medford Area Senior High School. 20th Annual Pine Line Marathon

This event begins and finishes in the Medford City Park. There will be a 26.2 mile marathon, 1/2 marathon, 26.3 mile relay, 5K Run/Walk and a 1 mile children's dash. This race is now a USAT&F certified race.

Memorial Day Program

There will be a Memorial Day program held at the Flag Field at 10:30 a.m.  The Medford Middle School band will be playing and the Boy Scouts/Cub Scouts will be saying the Pledge of Allegiance.  There will be a wreath drop that will take place.  Pigeons will be released in honor the service provided by Military signal Corp. during WW I and WW II.  All are invited to come.

In case it rains, the program will be held at the Medford Area Middle School Gym.

**MACC Ambassador Golf Tournament**

This event is held at both the Black River and Tee-Hi Golf Courses. The tournament is open to any team of four. There are raffle prizes, drawings and hole prizes. Each golfer receives a "goodie" bag. There will be food & refreshments served all day.

Armbrust brats with all the trimmings will be provided. Please bring a dish to pass for potluck dinner at the Curling Club following golf.  Please register by May 25, since there are only 18-four person teams.

Hinder Binder Cross Country Ski Races

Taylor Made ATV Annual Winter Fun Day

Held from 10:00am to 3:00pm.  Trail Ride, Games, Prizes, Scavenger Hunt, Broomball, Blindfold Course and food.  Lunch @ 12:00. Meat & Refreshments provided by club. Dish to pass appreciated. Campus Trail Trek

The Campus Trail Trek is a youth snowshoe race open to those 18 and under to be held at the Campus Trail near the Northcentral Technical College campus in Medford WI. It is sponsored by The Medford Kiwanis. The groomed trail is about .7 miles and is fairly flat. Awards will be give to the top 3 finishers in the following age groups: 5 and under, 5-8, 9-12, 13-15 and 15-18.  Registration is from 9:00am to 10:30am with the race starting at 11:00am. Cost is $15.00 which includes a event shirt, Snowshoes will be available for use during the race.
