Gun Raffle Winner The winner of the .240 Weatherby in the traveling gun raffle was T.J. Stroinski from the Colby area. Because of the economy it was decided not to hold the 20/20 Gun raffle fund raiser this year. We are trying to obtain more funds for projects through grants. Another traveling gun raffle may be held later this year. ************************************************************************ New
Aerator –Up and Running! The major project for 2008 was the new aerator on the east side of the lake near the campground. Members supervised and assisted in the building of the structure needed for housing the pump and related supplies. The Lake Association will continue to work with the county, the DNR, and the forest service to monitor the aerator. The old aerator and all of its lines were fishermen and other winter recreation fans of the danger. ************************************************************************ Active Member will be Missed At the annual picnic in August, Brad Ruesch commended Dave Dombrowski for the great number of hours he spent on the pavilion enlargement project. This is only one example of Dave’s contributions to the club projects. Even while suffering with the effects of his illness, he collected deer hides for the Association at his home. It is with sadness that we report Dave’s death on December 12, 2008. His presence will be missed and his name will be inscribed on the memorial plaque. Another
