Chalet offers a place to warm up and enjoy some snacks.
This is an
overview of the Chalet, Tubing Hill and Rope Tow.
HOW TO GET THERE
From the Intersection of Highway 13 and 64 in Medford drive 16 miles west on Highway 64. Turn right (north) on Forest Rd 119 and drive 4.1 miles to the parking lot on the left (west) side of the road for the west ski trails. Continue on for 0.3 miles to reach the road to the Chalet and east parking lot
From the Intersection of Highways 64 and 73 three miles south of Gilman, drive east 7 miles on Highway 64. Turn left (north) on Forest Road 119 and drive 4.1 miles to the parking lot.
From the Intersection of Highway 73 and M one mile south of Hannibal, drive east on M 10.2 miles to Forest Road 121. Turn right (south) on 121 and drive 2.2 miles to Forest Road 119. Turn left (south) on 119 and drive 0.7 miles to the road to the Chalet.
Perkinstown Winter Sports Area is open Friday 6:00 pm to 9:00pm and the cost is $6.00, Saturday 11:00 am to 2:00 pm for $6.00 and 2:00pm to 5:00pm for $6.00 or all day pass for $10.00., Sunday 12:00 pm to 2:00pm for $4.00 and 2:00pm to 4:00pm for $4.00 all day pass is $7.00. Children 3 years of age and under are free for all times, but must ride on parents lap.
Ski and Snowshoe rental available.
Small snowboarding hill available.
